The Delta Youth Soccer League (DYSL) is an volunteer nonprofit organization that provides recreational and competitive soccer programs for boys and girls ages 4 to 19 years in the Antioch, Pittsburg, Bay Point and adjacent unincorporated areas.  

The purpose of the DYSL shall be to develop, promote and administer the game of soccer among youth without regard to race, religion, color, creed, sex or national origin.

The DYSL shall be affiliated and comply with the authority to the California Youth Soccer Association.

Referee Classes - 2012 2012 Course Dates You can now register online. Click here to go to the Course Enrollment page. Grade 8 - This is an 18 hour course taught in 6 sessions over 3 weeks. A Grade 8 referee may referee any youth game. Of course, assignments on older matches requires actual game experience. This is the appropriate course for adults associated with comp teams. May 2012 Grade 8 Course - Dallas ranch Middle School Tues 05/8 7-10 pm Thurs 05/10 7-10 pm Tues 05/15 7-10 pm Thurs 05/17 7-10 pm Sat 05/19 12 PM-3PM (field session at AYSC) TUE 05/22 7-10 pm Grade 9 - This is an 8 hour course taught over a Friday evening and Satrday session. A Grade 9 or Recreational Youth Referee may referee ONLY U14 and younger recreational games. Grade 9 Course - Dallas Ranch Middle School Friday 06/22/2012 Sat 06/23/2012(field session) Comp Team Adults - the Grade 8 course is the entry level course and the one you will NEED to take. Current Grade 9 referees - This is a great way to upgrade your license with the full Grade 8 course. It will provide a great review of the material already covered in the Grade 9 course and cover most things in more depth. There is no cost to DYSL members for the course. Students passing will need to pay their $40 license fee on the last night. The course is open to youth (age 13+) and adults. The passing rate for students under 13 has been very low in the past. Your time will come - I know you're dying to referee. If you know of other people interested in the course please forward this information to them. Will Linville 4/2/12 5:12 PM 2012 DYSL Marlon 'Murf' Murphy Memorial College Scholarship The DYSL Board of Directors added a new scholarship this year in memory of Marlon "Murf" Murphy who influenced DYSL with his positive approach to life and refereeing and found many ways to bring smiles to our fields. The Marlon Murphy Scholarship is only open to referees who have at least a 3.0 GPA and are attending college beginning the following Fall semester.
